More than half of all Americans suffer from chronic or recurrent pain. Daily, physicians are faced with finding safe and effective methods and treatments to provide optimal pain relief for their patients.

The NIPC, through numerous educational venues, offers innovative, interactive, and practical activities that support the Initiative’s goals.

All NIPC programs are developed and continuously evaluated by the NIPC Education Council, an expert multidisciplinary team of specialists, researchers, and practicing physicians in pain management. The NIPC Faculty includes nationally respected experts in the pain management field.

Here’s what a past attendee had to say about NIPC activities:

"How do we get more of our colleagues to attend these meetings? There is so much information out there regarding the treatment of pain, and they really need to hear these programs. I've been to the last two and I plan on attending more that are offered."
